SNF: Playoffs!!!

So this week starts the playoffs! YEAAAAHHH! I found this online. It’s very fitting seeing that Army vs. Navy is the only game on today. If you didn’t watch it then you missed one of the best rivalry games in any sport, anywhere PERIOD. If you don’t like this game then you’re unamerican…seriously.

So now let’s get to business:

QBs

Start:

Matt Schaub (@SEA): This is one of many shitty games this week. Schaub has been secretly putting up major numbers this season and will continue that against an up and down Seattle defense
Joe Flacco (@DET): Flacco at home against the Lions is a no brainer. Like Tigers Woods, Just Do It
Jason Campbell (@OAK): I know the Raiders have been winning recently but it’s no thanks to the defense. Campbell is playing like he wants to save Jim Zorn’s job so he’s worth a start
Kellen Clemens (@TB): The fact that the Bucs have one win this season is a miracle. Clemens has experience on his side and will definitely make more plays than Sanchez would

Sit:

Jay Cutler (@GB): Experts are picking Charles Woodson to win Defensive Player of the Year. So I think if Cutler lofts a few passes up, C-Wood will be coming down with them and now who Cutler intended
Tony Romo (@SD): Romo and the Cowboys are beginning their December shittanking and going against an amped Chargers defense won’t help him shake the December sucktitude
Brett Favre (@CIN): Favre threw a couple picks last week and is looking more vulnerable. The Bengals will pressure Favre early and often and create turnovers
Eli Manning (@PHI): The Eagles put a beating on the Falcons last week. They’re clicking on both sides of the ball which isn’t good for Manning

RBs

Start:

Chris Johnson (@STL): JEEZY for MVP! Hell yeah. So ESPN says he’s probable but he’ll play. Kickoff is at four so he gets that extra time to rest and it’s the RAMS for fuck’s sake. Yeah he’ll play
Fred Jackson (@KC): The Chiefs have a weak defense and if you’re in a PPR league then you love Fred Jackson. Put him in and watch him rack up the points for you
Ryan Grant (@CHI): Grant is killing teams late in games and late in the season, which is his specialty. The Bears will be no different this week
Thomas Jones (@TB): Jones is second in the NFL in total yards and will certainly add to that total against the worst defense in the league. He’ll be fun to watch tomorrow

Sit:

Anyone on the Broncos (@IND): The Colts have been sneaking out their last few wins but with all the talk of going undefeated, the defense will step up and stop the run
Ricky Williams (@JAC): Even though their games are getting blacked out, the Jags are posting a top 10 run defense (7th to be exact). As good as Ricky is, the Jags will step and continue their push towards the Wild Card
Kevin Smith (@BAL): If Ray Lewis is on the field, the Ravens D is not to be messed with. Smith is young and Lewis and the Ravens have made a career out of feasting on young runningbacks. It won’t be a good day for Smith
Jerious Norwood (@NO): What has always killed the Saints in the past was their defense. They figured it out this year and they’re scary on both sides of the ball. Turner is out so Norwood will get the bulk of the touches but won’t have much success against the Saints D

WRs

Start:

Larry Fitzgerald/Anquan Boldin (@SF): Both Q and Fitty went off last week against the Vikes. In my league, Q went for 22 and Fitty went for 20. Either one is a good option against the Niners
Louis Murphy (@WAS): The Skins have a good pass defense but Gradkowski has found a favorite target in Murphy. How’s Heyward-Bey working out Al Davis?
Calvin Johnson (@BAL): Megatron is healthy and straight killed everyone last week. Ed Reed and co. are good but Johnson is a physical freak and will get points
Andre Johnson (@SEA): Johnson will have a huge game against a Seahawks D that hasn’t really figured things out. They’re technically “in the hunt” for the Wild Card and Johnson will take this team on his back to get to the playoffs

Sit:

Santana Moss (@OAK): Moss will be defended but the best shut down corner in the league, Nnamdi Asomugha. Moss also hasn’t had a good game in a while so I wouldn’t start him
Roy Williams (@SD): Williams has been dropping balls like crazy. He went off last week but I’m pretty sure that was a fluke.
DeSean Jackson (@NYG): The Giants aren’t the toughest defense in the league but even though he’s playing, I don’t think Jackson will be 100%
Roddy White (@NO): White is listed as questionable for the game against the Saints but even if he plays, he’s in the same boat as Jackson. He won’t be 100% so I don’t think he’ll be useful

D/ST

Start:

Baltimore Ravens (@DET): Stafford won’t be playing. And the Lions aren’t getting any better so the Ravens D will be playing great
Tennessee Titans (@STL): Once they shut down Steven Jackson, The Titans will have a field day with Kyle Boller and the no name receivers
New York Jets (@TB): The Bucs are starting a rookie QB and are pretty much in tank mode to get a high draft pick. The Jets should return to early season form in this game
Green Bay Packers (@CHI): The Pack forced Cutler into 5 INTs in week 1 and they’ll look to do the same this week.

Sit:

San Francisco 49ers (@ARI): Arizona is looking to buck the “the Super Bowl loser misses the playoffs” trend by slinging the ball to two stud receivers. Warner spreads the ball out to everyone in the offense and will drive the Niners secondary crazy
Miami Dolphins (@JAC): The Dolphins have a lot of tough veterans on their defense and can create turnovers and also score points. This is a good match up for the Fish
Dallas Cowboys (@SD): Rivers is putting up huge numbers this season and is working all of his offensive weapons into the game. LT is recharged and showing the league he can still play
Atlanta Falcons (@NO): Brees and his arsenal of weapons have beaten everyone in front of them and no matter who he throws it to, they end up in the end zone. Atlanta will be in for a long game

Waiver Wire:

Devin Thomas (WR, Washington Redskins)(@OAK): Moss will get most of the attention so picking up Thomas is a good option. Campbell seems to like him and Thomas’s best quality is his Yards After Catch.
Chris Brown (RB, Houston Texans)(@SEA): Slaton is hurt so Brown will get the bulk of the carries. He’s a good goal line option and is good if you’re in a PPR league

That’s it for me. Leave it in the comments!
